Between 5th April and 4th September 2016, The Saatchi Gallery will be hosting the largest ever exhibition from the Rolling Stones, Exhibitionism, spread over 9 galleries, two floors and 1,750 square metres, making it the largest Rolling Stones exhibition ever curated.
Created with the full participation of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts, Exhibitionism is an immersive experience showcasing over 500 artefacts from the band’s legendary fifty-year history, including costumes, film, backstage paraphernalia, personal artefacts and rare sound archives. The product of three years’ worth of planning, Exhibitionism is guaranteed to offer an insight into the world of one of the most prolific and successful music careers to have ever existed, and will be on a scale never before attempted.
“The scene was great down the King’s Road in the 1960’s. That was where you went to hang out to watch the fashions go by. So it is appropriate that our Exhibitionism will be housed at the wonderful Saatchi Gallery.” – Ronnie Wood
“We’ve been thinking about this for quite a long time but we wanted it to be just right and on a large scale. The process has been like planning our touring concert.” – Mick Jagger
